Content: In this course, we will reconstruct Kant’s concept of natural science in the historical context of the 18^th century. The focus lies on different passages of the “Critique of Pure Reason”, the “Prolegomena”, the “Metaphysical Foundations of Natural Science”, and the “Universal Natural History and Theory of the Heavens”.

Objectives: Participants should gain insights to Kant’s concept of natural science based on his theoretical philosophy. Furthermore, the course should be a preparation for the “Third Immanuel Kant International Summer School”.
